Thank you for the lovely feedback, George! I’m glad you enjoyed the balance of flavors and the crunch from the bean sprouts.

I used Beef instead of chicken. Love the simplicity of this recipe.

A keeper. There is just enough seasoning/sauce to flavor the noodles and the rest of the dish. It is hard to describe the flavour but you know it’s there. Bean sprouts give a nice crunch.
Recommended.

You’re very welcome! For a make-ahead dish, there are many options. Here are some examples: Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, Pork Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Char Siu Pork, Sweet & Sour Ribs, etc. They are all tasty at room temperature

I wonder if you may suggest a recipe I could prepare hours before consumption. I am invited to a family lunch and would like to contribute a dish. I need to prepare and cook this a few hours before it will be served.
Thank you, from Christine

This was really delicious, Wei. Also, I very much appreciate your detailing the specific ingredients (in this case, the mei fun), and all the well-written, step-by-step instructions with the photos and videos. Red House Spice is my No 1 go-to for Chinese recipes.

Since retiring and no longer traveling in the Far East, I have always bought Chow Mei Fun where I was working, but now I am retired and home so cooking my own is special. This recipe is absolutely amazing. You HAVE to try it.
