So easy! This is definitely going into my winter rotation. I used chenpi, which gave the soup a really subtle citrus aroma. Next time I’m going to try it with the pith–I think I’ll enjoy the depth brought by the bitterness.

Dried lily bulbs don’t need to be rehydrated for this recipe. Simple rinse them then cook with the soaked beans. Happy cooking!

Having read the recipe I don’t see where I could add them. I have never cooked with this ingredient before.
I assume that cold water rehydration is best. How long for please?
